Originally used to follow my adventures as an intern in New York, I am now using this blog as a place to gather my writing. I want this to show as a collection of samples of work that I have done. This ranges from my blog posts, to news stories, and feature stories. Feel free to critique and comment.

You can see the original “About” section below:

This is Courtney’s blog chronicling my experience as an intern in New York City.

It’s not like I’ve never been to NYC before, it’s the fact that I’m working for a big company, and doing something that I’m sure to love. It’s exciting and I know a lot of people are excited for me. Continue to be excited as you read what I accomplish and the things I learn during my 10-week internship.

What I know for sure is that I’ll be working with CBS, specifically on the morning show: CBS This Morning. I’ll receive my specific duties once I get there. They are giving me a place to stay, in the city, just blocks away from the building. And the best part: this internship is PAID!

Orientation is June 4th. I leave Atlanta on the first and I couldn’t be more excited.

I promise to write at least once a week, possibly more. So… check it out, subscribe, read, support and enjoy!

  1. So proud of you Court! =) I know you will do well and learn a lot. Continue to be successful. God sure has blessed you and allowed you to make it this far with all that you’ve gone through. So just keep doing what you’re doing.

  2. CBS gives you a place to stay?! That is great. I should maybe consider doing it next summer.

  3. Well Court you’re well on your way. Glad you are learning lots and enjoying yourself. And of course there is hope. 🙂
